As good as all the others Blake sleeves.
Not necessary for single disc LPs in a slim gatefold cover (eg. Diamond Life), those work fine in the BLP1.
But BLPD is necessary for fatter double LPs (eg. Electric Ladyland). -

Na het internet afgeschuimd te hebben op zoek naar reviews aangaande LP-hoezen was ik overtuigd; ik zou en móest de Blake sleeves proberen. M'n vorige hoezen waren de losse, zak-achtige plastiek hoezen waar je de lp's wel mee beschermt, maar die er niet uitzien in je platenkast. Je kunt nauwelijks de titels aflezen van de rand van de hoes. Dit maakt niet zoveel uit als je ze in een gesloten kast zet, maar na m'n verhuis besloot ik om m'n bescheiden collectie toch tentoon te stellen in een open platenkast. Zodoende speurde ik het net af naar de mooie, op maat gemaakte, doorzichtige hoezen die niet alleen je plaat beschermen maar er ook nog eens lekker strak uitzien. De Blake sleeves voldeden aan al m'n eisen en werden opgestuurd vanuit Nederland wat de transportkosten toch enorm beperkt; meer dan genoeg rede om ze een kans te geven.
Ik ben enorm blij dat ik het gedaan heb. Geloof het of niet maar je hoezen gaan er zowaar beter uitzien door de glasheldere sleeve die lekker smooth om je lp's passen! De standaard blakes zijn op maat gemaakt voor de enkele lp-hoezen, en voor dubbele lp-hoezen bestel je gewoon Blake's BLPD dubbele LP hoezen, die ik moeiteloos rond elk niet-standaard formaat kreeg gepast. Dikke dubbelalbums, standaard dubbelalbums, gatefolds, ... Allemaal geen probleem.
De plakkant zit netjes op de sleeve zelf, niet op de flap, dus als je je lp's normaal behandelt en sleevet komt de lijm nooit op je hoes terecht. Al bij al een fameuze aanrader! -

Been looking for these for a while and they are perfect for protecting my vinyl collection - more practical for storing vinyl's than the heavy plastic covers which tend to stick to the cardboard sleeves if not removed regularly.
